Dressed Native Lobster
A fully prepared lobster, cooked and cleaned with the meat taken out of the claws and knuckles. We have done the hard work so all you need to do is enjoy your lobster!
Delicious lobsters from East Coast caught in lobster pots the same way as they have been for hundreds of years. Native lobster meat is high in protein and low in fat and carbohydrates, making it not only delicious but good for you too.
We will cook your lobster in the morning, let it cool in fresh water then Ben will take the cooked lobster, remove the claws, cut the body half lengthways and remove the inedible bits. The claws are then cracked open and the knuckle and claw meat is placed on the lobster halves, you really don't want to leave the delicate knuckle meat in the shell, it is delicious and Ben is really good at teasing it all out. It is then carefully packed and vacuum sealed so it arrives to you the next day as fresh and tasty as possible.
We have done all the hard work for you so you just need to decide whether you want to enjoy your lobster chilled or top it with some garlic butter and pop it under the grill or on the BBQ to heat it through. Either way, it is best that you enjoy your dressed lobster within three days of delivery.
Small (400g - 500g)
Would feed one person for a small main or would be a starter for two people.
Medium (600g - 800g)
Would be a good main for one person.
Large (900g - 1.1kg)
Would be a main for two people.
Weights are approximate and are based on the weight of the lobster whilst live, your dressed lobster will weigh less as it has been cooked, cleaned and the shell from the claws has been removed.
