A clean and fresh take on a taco with fresh crab meat, creamy avocado, zesty lime and sour cream, after all you can't have a taco without sour cream.

This is a super simple recipe that you can put together in a matter of minutes and it's fresh, tasty and healthy. You could use a dressed crab for this recipe and mix the brown crab meat in with the dressing to give it some extra depth.

Serves 2



  • 4 small corn tortillas
  • 100g white crab meat or a dressed crab
  • 3 spring onions, shredded
  • 1/2 an avocado, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon soured cream
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tabasco chipotle chilli sauce
  • handfull coriander, chopped
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped

    Griddle the tortillas or warm them in a dry frying pan. Divide the crab between them and top with the onion and avocado.

    Mix the cream, mayo and chilli sauce and thin with water. Drizzle the sauce over the tacos and sprinkle with coriander and red chilli before folding or rolling them up.
