Whole Octopus
Description
Cooking octopus at home is an adventure worth undertaking.
A frozen whole, raw and cleaned octopus. The process of freezing the octopus helps to tenderise the meat, making cooking and preparation of the octopus easier, plus it's been cleaned so there is less mess too!
There are many ways to cook octopus, we recommend a slow simmer for one hour to one and a half hours then marinating the octopus before finishing the tentacles on either the BBQ or in a hot frying pan.
The octopus is between 1.5 to 2 kg in weight and has been caught off the coast of Portugal. Octopus is a good low-fat source of protein that's high in vitamin B12.
As this is a frozen product and may begin to defrost during delivery so we recommend that you place in the fridge on arrival, consume within 3 days and do not re-freeze.
