What is the delivery charge?
Delivery is £7.95, it is the same if you would like your order delivered the next day or on a designated say Tuesday to Friday. Saturday delivery is £32.10 and needs to be arranged over the phone 01206 384141 or by email email@example.com. However, orders over £100 qualify for FREE delivery (excluding Saturday delivery) so why not bulk order and top up your freezer or order with some friends?
What is the minimum order value?
The minimum order value is £25
What is the latest I can order for next day delivery?
If you would like next day delivery we need your order in by 12pm, midday. This gives us enough time to prepare your seafood as our lobsters and crabs are cooked to order.
Do I have to be in when you deliver?
No, as long as you have a safe place where we can leave your box, when placing your order simply add any instructions in the delivery information box. We can deliver to your place of work or to a neighbour if easier. It is always best to let us have a telephone number that we can reach you on the day of delivery should there be a problem.
If there is no answer at the address the courier will try and deliver to a neighbour (unless stated not to do so in the delivery instructions on your order). Please note, if you are not available to take delivery or have not left suitable instructions for the delivery driver, or contact with a neighbour to take the delivery cannot be made, or the driver feels it would not be suitable to leave the delivery it will become your responsibility to collect the delivery from the local depot. We cannot accept responsibility for deliveries that have not been signed for, or for orders that have to be re-delivered.
Why don't you deliver on Mondays?
Simply because the Fishery is closed on Sundays and we deliver overnight.
Why is the delivery charge so much for a Saturday delivery?

Can I collect my order from the Fishery?
Yes you can, we are open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. If you are ordering a platter or any cooked or dressed items then we do need 24 hours notice. If you are making a special trip out to the Fishery, please call us on advance on 01206 384141 to confirm that we have your items in stock.
Can you send the oysters already opened?
No, they would make you very ill. Oysters are best enjoyed as soon as they are opened.
Why don't you use polyboxes and ice?
We use poly boxes for large orders but mostly we use our silver boxes that are super insulated and keep your order colder for longer. We use gel ice packs instead of ice as they remain frozen for longer and create less mess so your seafood isn't swimming in water when it arrives. The gel packs can be reused so pop them in your freezer ready for your next picnic!
What couriers do you use?
We use APC couriers and have done for many years, we have found them to be polite and they handle our packages with care.
Where don't you deliver to?
Unfortunately there are areas that we can't deliver to due to the transit time from the Fishery to your door taking two days, which is too long for our seafood. These locations are mainly in the Scottish highlands and Islands. If your post code beings with the following then I am afraid we can't deliver to you: KW, IV, HS, PH,PA, KA, AB, DD, ZE and IM. We also have restricted delivery to other areas of Scotland, so if you are in doubt it is best to call us on 01206 384141 and we can double check for you.
We are also unable to deliver to Ireland.
What do I do if I have a problem with my order?
If you want to add you your order, you can until 11am the day before delivery. If there is a problem please call us on 01206 384141 or email us email@example.com . We pride ourselves on the quality of our produce and if you are unhappy we would like to know so that we can do something about it. A lot of the produce we sell is live and shellfish are delicate so there will occasionally be problems and when there are, we will always do our best to make it up to you.
